LIVING LITURGY BENEFIT CONCERTS December 2026 · Host Information WELCOME LETTER Hi Songwriter, Thank you for your interest in hosting a benefit concert in your community to support the work of Living Liturgy. When you share your songs, you’re helping others around the world write new original worship songs for their communities. When we work together in the Kingdom of God, the fruit multiplies. Our invitation to you is simple: gather friends, family, and community for an event sometime in December in your home, at your church, or somewhere in your community, like a coffee shop or local venue. You and whoever you invite can share original music (maybe some Christmas music, too) and tell your community about the work God is doing through Living Liturgy. Our prayer is that this campaign gives you an opportunity to create a special night of community and worship while supporting the ministry of Living Liturgy. Please contact me at any point for more information or to start preparing your benefit concert. Blessings! Nate Lain, Founder nathan@livingliturgy.online HOST EXPECTATIONS As a host, you will be responsible for putting on the benefit concert. You will: - Choose the time and location (home, church, local venue). - Create a Facebook event and do light promotion. Living Liturgy can provide promotional materials. - Select the performers or worship leaders and songs for the night. The more, the merrier! - Allocate time in the evening to talk about the work of Living Liturgy. You can share personally if you have context, or use a mission video from Living Liturgy. - Donate the proceeds you choose to contribute to Living Liturgy. We want this to be a low-stress event that builds community and momentum around original worship music. There is no minimum amount that needs to be raised. Even $100 raised for the ministry can be a seed that God uses. You can decide how much you donate to Living Liturgy. We recommend positioning the event as a benefit concert with 100% of proceeds going to Living Liturgy, but you are welcome to set a percentage to donate and cover operating expenses like venue and audio, video, and lighting fees. HOW LIVING LITURGY SUPPORTS YOU Living Liturgy will support you with the details and materials to help your event succeed: - Promotional materials for social media and church announcements. - Information about Living Liturgy and a mission video to share with your community. - Administrative help where you need it and a team contact for questions. - Guidance on how to send the donations to Living Liturgy. EVENT OUTLINE 1. Welcome your guests and introduce the evening. 2. Share original songs, worship music, or Christmas music. 3. YOUR BENEFIT CONCERT, ONE STEP AT A TIME There is no minimum audience, production standard, or fundraising amount. Six friends in your living room is a real concert. 1. PICK A PLACE AND A DECEMBER DATE Choose a space that feels comfortable and is accessible to your guests. Ask the venue about capacity, access, and any permissions you need. A 20-minute gathering is welcome. 2. INVITE YOUR PEOPLE Tell friends, your church, or your local community what you are planning. Be clear about the location, date, time, accessibility, and whether an invitation is required. 3. CHOOSE YOUR SONGS Share original songs, worship songs, hymns, or Christmas music that feels true to you. Leave room to tell the stories behind them. Check any permissions needed for your chosen music, especially for recording or livestreaming. 4. INTRODUCE THE MISSION Living Liturgy helps local churches cultivate their own worship songwriters through discipleship, collaboration, coaching, and resources. 5. MAKE SPACE FOR GENEROSITY Choose the share of proceeds you plan to contribute to Living Liturgy. We recommend giving 100% of proceeds, though you may first cover costs such as the venue or audio, video, and lighting. There is no minimum amount to raise. Use the campaign giving link or QR code and follow the campaign team’s instructions for sending any other proceeds. 6. SAY THANK YOU Thank everyone for coming. With their permission, share a photo or story with the campaign team. Small gatherings matter. Your songs are helping someone else begin.
